INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERS
Malta's Foundation for Social Welfare Services was established in 1998. Its aims to provide social welfare services, to develop and promote social and other related studies and scholarships, and to collaborate with similar entities, at regional and international levels. The Foundation is governed by a board of members who contribute through their experience in the field of social welfare practice and research.
Active Ageing and Community Care (AACC) aims to be partners with older people and society through holistic client oriented policies and support, so that elderly people continue to enjoy life to their maximal potential in their individual settings. AACC provides over twenty different community services to senior citizens in Malta in order to support them to continue living in the community.
Agenzija Sapport (Support Agency) is Malta’s National Agency that offers and provides services, support and guidance to persons with disabilities, their support networks, and their communities.
The Social Care Standards Authority (SCSA) of Malta is the public authority responsible for the regulation and licensing of all social welfare service providers in Malta. SCSA is also the designate Central Authority under the Adoption Administration Act and Foster Care Act.
Positive Parenting focuses on building a connection and a healthy relationship with children while also providing children with boundaries, structure and natural consequences when needed. The aim of Positive Parenting Malta is to promote psycho-educational material and support for parents to enable them to provide a healthy environment and foster the development of a secure attachment with their children.
